Enerpro is recruiting: Electrical Engineer

Enerpro is looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer on a contract basis to perform a range of duties and responsibilities to ensure client satisfaction. Reporting to the Project Manager, this candidate will assist with preparation and execution of required scopes to allow rig to pass inspection tests and gain acceptance to Brazilian Regs and Client Contractual requirements.

Major Responsibilities

• Assist with developing the resource plan to prepare the vessel electrically for Brazilian Operations.
• Liaise with the unit, Technical Superintendents and SMEs to gather all information to fully determine the required work scope to get the unit electrically contractually compliant for Petrobras.
• Liaise with the unit, Technical Superintendents and SMEs to gather all information to fully determine the required work scope to get the unit electrically compliant to meet Brazilian Regulatory Requirements.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise delivery of the identified work scopes to meet Brazilian Regulatory Requirements and Petrobras Contractual requirements.
• Identify and engage key vendors for delivery of the required work scopes.
• Coordinate and facilitate vendor survey visits to finalise work scopes.
• Gather and compare quotes for electrical work scopes and make recommendations for contract award to the project manager.
• Identify and monitor long lead materials deliveries with assistance from Purchasing.
• Highlight high risk items areas to the project team.
• Assist with managing the execution of the electrical work scopes for delivery of the rig to Brazil.
• Liaise with key stake holders to support client and regulatory inspections for vessel acceptance.
• In conjunction with QAQC prepare the required project QA Documentation package for handover to client and Reg Authorities.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years including exposure to vessel acceptance
• Electrical Engineering HND/Degree level or equivalent
• Up-to-date offshore survival and certifications
• Rig acceptance training
• Good understanding of CCTV systems installation, power distribution and installation planning

Relationships

Manage relationships with client and vendor representatives in a professional manner at all times.

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment

Plan all works in accordance with client and Enerpro policy.
Behave at all times with QHSE as a core principal inline with Enerpro policy.

Role is based in Aberdeenshire

• Role is based in the Aberdeen office initially, then will be remote
• Working 5 days a week
• There may also be a requirement to visit and work at other company locations

We are hiring an experienced Operations Administrator

Enerpro is currently recruiting for an experienced and goal-orientated Operations Administrator on a fulltime basis. This position reports directly to the Managing Director of the company. Your skills and expertise will be used across a range of domestic and international projects. Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is favourable.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for the role, as are an organised, and flexible attitude with a strong attention to detail.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee day-to-day operations of personnel mobilising to projects.
Ensure all paperwork and personnel records are kept up to date in line with company policies and procedures.
Creating Purchase Orders and assisting with preparing invoices.

Support bookkeeping and budgeting procedures for the company.

Answering phone calls and responding to client emails.

SKILLS / EXPERTISE:

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

4+ years of experience in the marine/offshore industry (essential).
4+ years of administrator experience (essential).

IT skills in MS Office.

Sage 50 Accounts (advantageous).

Ability to Prioritise workload in line with project demands.

Confident in minuting meetings.

Can demonstrate a history of continuous improvement to drive the department forward.

SVQ or Degree in Business or related field is advantageous.

Hiring Operations Manager

We are hiring an experienced Operations Manager

Team Enerpro is growing! We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis reporting directly to the Managing Director of the company. The primary purpose of this role is to oversee day-to-day operations ensuring all aspects of business activity are conducted in a timely and efficient manner. Your skills and expertise will be applied across a range of domestic and international projects, starting in the bid phase, continuing through to award, start up and execution.

Experience and knowledge of the Oil and Gas industry is essential to the role.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential for the role, as are an assertive, organised, and flexible attitude with a strong commitment to HSE & Quality Assurance delivery.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Management and control of tenders and enquiries, as necessary
• Day-to-day management of the company Service Team
• Primary operational point of contact between the customer and the company
• Ensure all organisational processes, policies and goals are completed within the requirements set out, by educating, mentoring, and training the operations team
• Developing detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports, conducting risk analysis and monitoring the progress of plans against project milestones and budgets
• Develop and own the business plan, and drive sales, bid and tender activity
• Deliver growth in the areas of responsibility through close collaboration with business development
• Expand the company’s business with development programs, proactively identifying new opportunities and support / lead bid and tender activity as appropriate
• Imbed commercial thinking into the operational area ensuring that budgets are achieved, and value delivered
• Collaborate with finance and administration personnel as required for the efficient fiscal operation of projects
• Drive KPI’s and stakeholder relations
• Develop and motivate operational colleagues
• Sourcing contract personnel/teams to execute client projects in the UK and Internationally
• Meet with prospective and existing clients to gain business and build relationships
• Provide regular reports and updates to Managing Director
• Function as point of contact for contract personnel and manage operational issues

TECHNICAL SKILLS AND MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Essential

• 10+ years of experience in the marine / offshore industry
• 8+ years of operations management experience
• Experience and history delivering projects from an initial planning phase through to project close out
• Construction and mechanical engineering background
• Familiarity with certifying authorities - ABS, DNV, Lloyds & BV
• Sufficient experience in Project Engineering
• Proficient IT skills in MS Office, MS Project & CRM systems
• Ability to prioritise workload in line with project demands
• Confident in chairing meetings
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate strong-minded direct reports
• Can demonstrate a history of continuous improvement to drive a department forward
• Experience in implementing and delivering KPIs
• Commercially minded with proven experience in budgetary control and revenue maximisation
• Previous experience in planning and delivering Oil and Gas projects

Preferable

• Degree in Business, Operations Management or related field
• Knowledge and experience with Special Periodic Survey (SPS) related scopes

We are looking for a number of specialist Oil & Gas construction and maintenance roles for a four-week onshore Oil & Gas project based in Hartlepool commencing this month. The short-term contract will support a rig upgrade and steel replacement project for a leading drilling service provider ahead of their next drilling programme.

Enerpro is seeking several specialist and support roles including:
- Welders 6G – FCAW
- Platers
- Pipefitters
- Level 3 riggers
- Painters
- Scaffolders – basic and advanced
- Mechanics
- Trades assistants

We are keen to hear from limited company and PAYE contractors with essential rig and shipyard experience. This four-week opportunity is based onshore with personnel operating 12 hours shifts, 7 days a week and includes accommodation and meals.
This is an exciting opportunity to support a leading drilling service provider with immediate effect.

The project is a short-term, five-week contract with potential for extension and with the majority of roles now filled, we have another push to recruit the following skills:
- 20 x Welders FCAW and SMAW (6G/6GR)
- 20 x Platers / Fabricators

Personnel must be time-served in their area of expertise with experience in shipyard or offshore rig services. Forklift certification would also be advantageous.

The contract is based on 84 hrs per week for four confirmed weeks, commencing May 30th, 2022. Both nightshift and dayshift are available for contractors. Please note, there is a possibility of contract extension.
