The Enerpro Group is looking for a Lead Designer to join its growing business.
You will work closely with the Operations Manager and other departments to oversee the timely delivery of offshore and quayside projects. This is a staff position and is based in our Aberdeen office.
Enerpro Group is a Design, Engineering and Construction service company which offers a complete range of construction-based support services to the multi-market energy industry.

You will be the subject matter expert for structural engineering, providing hands on technical expertise in the origination of project deliverables which are technically correct and meet the required quality and industry safety requirements as well as serving as a key point of contact for clients. This position combines design expertise with project coordination skills and offers a clear pathway to management responsibilities as you help build the department.
You must be highly proficient with modern design software and have experience in developing technical documentation and procedures. Strong knowledge of industry standards and certification bodies including AWS, DNV, and Lloyd's Register is required.
We are looking to speak to people who have these qualities:
· 8+ years’ experience in design and demonstrable experience of delivering projects
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering (desirable)
· Strong experience in EPCI project execution, with an understanding of the full lifecycle from concept to completion
· Proficiency in creating models using AutoCAD or other design tools
· Strong knowledge of engineering design standards and practices
· Project management experience
· Offshore certifications
· Strong technical leadership abilities
· Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously
· Commercially focused
· Flexibility required for occasional urgent offshore/quayside visits
